Youth Pastor

Michael and his family joined the FBC King staff in July 2022. Originally from Virginia, he grew up in the suburbs of Richmond. He completed his B.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies from Regent University in 2016 and went on to earn his Advanced M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2021. During this time, he met and married his wife Bethany and they have been blessed with their four incredible girls, Nora, Hope, Sophia, and Brooke. Starting with an internship in Family Ministry, Michael has been consistently working with youth or serving in the church since 2011 from Virginia, to North Carolina, to Oregon, and back.

Always striving to grow in knowledge and conviction to Biblical fidelity, Michael desires to instill a dedication to the authority of the Scriptures among those he ministers to. One of his greatest passions is to minister the younger generations as they continue on in the legacy of the church and our commission to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, tribe, people, and language.
